Problem Statement

BINGABINGA is a Magento based E-Commerce platform that allows online users to buy a range of products from various categories like home accessories, cooking and dining, jewelry, electricals and outdoor etc. The client needed to scale their platform for concurrent use by 10000 users and PayPal Payment testing. Load testing of the platform was required for identifying bottlenecks in the application and to generate comprehensible test reports and generation of the load in strict accordance to UK target audience.

Product Description

BINGABINGA is one of the reputed e-commerce application widely popular in the UK. This holistic application offers an array of products categorically listed on the most user-friendly platform and UI. The application allows users to purchase home accessories, bedding and linens, lighting and candles, cooking and dining, electrical, outdoor, jewelry products among much more. These broad categories are further divided into subcategories and allow users to find a product of their choice listed under them. An intuitive search bar is also available on the homepage that allows users to specify a product to be searched thereafter followed by listing the specified product with all vital details.

Users can select a product and add it to their shopping cart. Payment gateway integration with the application allows users to proceed to checkout and make payment online to complete the order effortlessly.

BingaBinga also provides an extensive platform for vendors to sell their products on this platforms by registering on this e-commerce website with their valid details. Registered sellers can then list their products under various categories and can start selling them by specifying all product details. This innovative platforms brings buyers and sellers together on a single platform and helps both by addressing their needs on the go.

Register/ Login : Frequent users can simply register/ login to access the application with valid email id and password or through social media accounts.
Product Categories : Various product categories are available consisting of corresponding products with entire necessary information allowing users to quickly explore product of their choice belonging to a specific category.
Search Filters : Various search filters in the application allow users to search for a product of their choice by restricting the search criteria to the specified conditions such as price range, subcategory etc. The application narrows the product list based on the specified filters and saves the search time.
Wish Lists : Users can also add the products they wish to buy later in their wish lists and move them to the cart later whenever they feel like proceeding to finally buy them.
Cart : The cart enables users to collect all the products to be purchased from within the application. Users can edit the quantity of the products added and also remove them as per their choice.
